Welcome to the Los Angeles Basin Geological Society
The Los Angeles Basin Geological Society is comprised of individuals who share an interest in the geology of the Los Angeles Basin. Members come from many geologic disciplines and specialties including petroleum, environmental, engineering, mining, hydro, seismic and academic areas of geologic interest. The LABGS is run by volunteers with most of its members living or working within the basin. As of January 26th meeting students will now be charged $5.00 for meal and lecture.
